I have so many drafts I need to finish but, I am feeling overwhelmingly inspired by some pretty awesome people today so I thought I would share (:
If you don't know these people you are about to.
They have seriously touched my life in so many ways.

Meet Alyona Alekhina.
She was my first WCW on Instagram, 63 weeks ago and this is what I said about her then...
"#wcw @alyona_elena_alekhina_key she is so #beautiful inside and out. So talented! #snowboarding #skateboarding #piano #intelligent #drive #passionate #strength even through her accident last year her strength amazes me. &on May 6th 2013 she married the most amazing man @williamryankey making her the luckiest women I haven't had the liberty of meeting yet. She is so #inspiring &has overcome more than I could ever handle. Keep being you because you are more wonderful than you know ❤"
Andddddddddddd guess what, .... she commented on it!!!!!!!!!
I mean all she said was "Thank you" but I was so excited. She took time out of her life to comment on my Instagram post!
She is a Russian snowboarder, who also loves skateboarding, went to music school, plays the piano and is a translator who speaks English, French and Spanish, among all the other great things she is. Honestly The first time I heard of her it was because she was dating Ryan Key and I love love love Ryan Key so I had to do some research. I instantly fell in love with her as well, they are so perfect together. I'll explain shortly.
What's really so amazing about her is her spirit and determination.
In early 2013 Alyona had a tragic snowboarding accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down.

This is a fairly recent photo of her on her new bike that I don't know a whole lot about but I guess it sends electrical currents down her legs to help her be able to use it.
She spent a lot of time in the ICU, it's almost been 2 years exactly since it happened and this picture is her 6 weeks ago. Still fighting everyday to one day be able to walk again.

And then there is Ryan, I could go on for days, but I will try to keep it shortish and sweet. Keeping it sweet is easy with these two!
William Ryan Key is the lead vocalist and guitarist of Yellowcard. My favorite band, if you didn't already know.
When Ryan got the phone call about Alyona's accident, the band was in the middle of recording Ocean Avenue Acoustic, for Ocean Avenue's 10 year anniversary. Like in the booth at the time, literally in the middle of recording. And like the amazing person he is, he immediately stopped and went to be by her side.
The Producer on the album packed up the studio and set it up in one of the hotel rooms at the hospital and that is where they recorded between visits to the ICU. That is true dedication, to his wife and to his music, and it makes me kind of emotional to think about.

I would like to take a moment and point out that I have the Yellowcard shirt that Alyona has on in the top right and bottom left photo to the left. Just saying, it's also my favorite shirt ever, which is saying a lot considering the mass amount of clothes that I own.
This is obviously them while in the hospital, they're are so beautiful I don't even know how to put it into words. Honestly, there isn't a lot of there about their lives, I get most of my information from her Instagram account and the few interviews Ryan has had that are posted online. I see her struggle pretty much weekly and it's truly heart wrenching. What she went through, being in the ICU for so long and the daily life of trying her hardest to over come her injury, she really is so inspiring. As is Ryan for being so dedicated and loving through this trying time for both of them.

In May of 2013, while Alyona was still in the ICU, they got married. This picture made me cry so many real tears the first time I saw it... it might still, I guess you'll never know. To me, they have the biggest, truest love I have ever seen. I can only imagine how hard it would be to maintain a relationship when both of your jobs require you to travel and a lot of the time be on opposite sides of the world from each other. And just as their passion shows in their work, it's easy to see it for one another as well. Then going through Alyona's accident together and still going through it, over two years later. She's still doing around 8 hours a day of therapy, and found a good treatment center in Russia where she spent most of her time, currently she's been in LA for awhile, on her new bike you saw further up in this post. It's so inspiring to see them go through this together, still supporting each other even though it is hard and for Ryan to be there as much as he can, even though he is currently on tour. ---and if there is a show near you you should go! I just went last week in Indy and it was AMAZING. I don't know how but they just get better every time.
They just prove that true love prevails, that no matter what happens or where life takes you, if you really love someone you will make it work, because it matters. Neither one of their careers have ever been more important than their relationship, they actually have a balance that is amazing and I'm sure it doesn't seem like it to them all the time but it shows in their lives. I can only imagine the struggles and hardships they go through, but they make it through because they tackle them together.
